Went on a walk around Arlington Cemetery the other day in preparations for our tour in May. Check it out here! It will be a lot of history, lot of photo taking, a lot of walking but a great time overall 🙂
I spent the morning at the WWII memorial. It wasn’t planned, I was trying to shoot at Founder’s park but there were so many trees that it was blocking the colors of the sunrise. I ran over to the WWII and was amazed by the sky.
Thanks to the man who was cleaning up the memorial who let me use my tripod. Thanks to the parking ticket lady who almost gave me a ticket but I ran back to my car in time.
Hellooo Wednesday! 🙂
After publishing my video, A Foggy Morning in Alexandria, VA I got a few comments saying they really enjoyed the last image from it. It was taken a little bit after sunrise and all the colors have emerged with the fog in the sky.
After a day of rain, I thought I’d check out Alexandria to see what the sunrise would be like around there. It turned out to be really foggy and it’s been a while since I’ve seen a morning like that. It was really pretty. As the sun was rising the colors in the sky were peaking through the fog. Wish you could be there!
Constitution Gardens is a hidden gem in DC. For some reason, not a lot of people know about it but it has a beautiful view of the monument.
