Funny thing about this picture, I took it a few weeks ago and didn’t really even look at it once I uploaded it to my computer. I thought it was one of those fail days where the colors in the sky weren’t that great so I didn’t even bother processing it. I’m so glad I did now. I love the steam rising from the back of the waterfall.

Usually I walk right past this boat when I’m in Great Falls, MD, but this time was different. I think it was the sunset colors, but I’m so glad I actually stopped and took my time with this shot to get the perfect angle.

A few months ago, I was contacted by Easy Canvas Print to see if I wanted to get one of my images printed on canvas. For some reason, I had never even considered canvas as an option. I always thought it was for paintings, more than anything else. I was also afraid that the colors wouldn’t turn out very well. People have said that they thought my images looked like paintings, so why not give it a try?

All I can say is, WOW. I have never seen my image printed on a mat material but I loved it. The colors are so vivid and the image turned out exactly the way I imagined it. My camera wasn’t able to capture all the details and colors like how I wanted it to but I love it. Did I say “love” enough in those sentences?

What I didn’t expect was how light weight it was. It was so easy to hang with just a thumbtack and trying it out in different places in my office.

I got the 16×20 gallery wrap because I thought it would look the best. My only regret is that I didn’t get something bigger!
