Had a great weekend with friends and family, so I’m feelin’ the spring happy vibes today. Also just finished watching the first season of Bloodline on Netflix. Have you guys seen it? Such a great show with so much mystery. I can’t wait to start the second season this week. It’s really all I thought about this past weekend.
Almost makes the rain worth it. Almost.
I was suppperrrr jet lagged when we came back from Japan. I’d wake up around 4a everyday not knowing what to do. Usually I’d just lay in bed for a few hours hoping to fall back to sleep but one morning I decided to get up and check out the scene at the tidal basin. The cherry blossoms were peaking while we were gone, so I’m glad to have captured just the last bit of them before they all went away.
Shinjuku Gyoen park is the perfect place to view the cherry blossoms. The first time we tried to go, it was closed. We only had an hour the second time we went. And this was taken on the third attempt. But somehow we’d still get lost whenever we tried to go. I’d put it into our GPS and Shinjuku Gyoen sounded like Shinjuku”jail”. I was startled me every time I heard it.
I heard the cherry blossoms will be peaking soon in DC! Wishing everyone back home beautiful light and new fun experiences <3
