Everyday I sit at my computer and I try to come up with something happy, upbeat, or fun to say in these blog posts. Some days its more difficult than others. Today I just feel sad. Please lets all just concentrate on peace.

Love summer storms. They just seem to be more dramatic than any other season. Am I right? Is it because of the warmer air? I don’t know but they’re awesome. Not to self: No white tshirts when out shooting dramatic clouds. That never ends well.

We had some crazy storms yesterday in the DC area. So whenever that happens, I try my best to make it out for sunset to shoot. Luckily by that time they had already passed and left some pretty awesome clouds in their wake.

Sorry I don’t remember the name of this hike, but I do remember it was a strenuous one. Straight uphill shot to the top to get this gorgeous view. But once we reached the top I had to pretend like I wanted to stop to take the picture when I really just wanted to take a breather.
