In no particular order, these are a few of my favorites from the past year. I know it may not be the ones you may have picked, but they all have some sort of special meaning to me.
It’s so amazing to reflect back on the past year and think about all the progress I’ve made in photography. Like I said before, I can’t wait for 2012. It’s going to be amazing!
A friend’s car. When I first processed this image it blew me away. I literally stood up from my desk and was like “WOW”. This was on of those pics that I could not wait to share! Check out what it’s like to ride shotgun.
One of my very first macro images. I love the composition and detail in this image. It’s one of those pics that I could stare at for hours and still love it. One of my friends bought this pic. Check out her reaction.
It’s funny because you only see the end result. While I was taking this pic, my boyfriend, Andrew, was screaming at me to get out of the middle of the street. I swear, sometimes I’m so concentrated on getting the shot that I just don’t realize other stuff that is going on around me. Wow, I have a lot of videos on these images. Pretty cool to reminence two ways!
My first and only time at a sunflower field. I only went once this year and I’m kinda bummed. I should of gone more. Next year though. I’ve heard a lot of people tell me this is their favorite video. What do you think?
This image wasn’t planned but I love it. I love the purple and the reflection in the water. That purple only happens when you’re up SUPER early in the morning. See what I mean, I didn’t plan on getting this shot.
I love the simplicity of this image. The two flowers are opposites but they are still beautiful together. One of my absolute favs!

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of talking to a local photography club in McLean, VA and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was great seeing people’s reactions to my photography and hearing the comments they had. Usually, I only get feedback online, so it was a very nice change of pace.
