This is the second time in the past week that I’ve been to the Lincoln Memorial. You can see the first time here. This is becoming my favorite memorial in DC. Not only is the parking really easy close to this memorial (major points), but there are so many different shots you can take with it. The architecture itself is beautiful, the view is uncomparable and the Lincoln statue is amazing.
This was pic was shot in the Lincoln Memorial facing the Washington Monument at sunrise.
This was the second time I went out to the Captiol to photograph it. The first time was during sunrise, which you can see here. I think the colors of the sky make this building look less intimidating.
Let me know which one you like better in the comments below.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech 25 years ago today at the Lincoln Memorial. It was pretty awesome being there this morning and recognizing all the change that has happened since this moment in history.

Its pretty easy to say that my favorite museum in DC is the Smithsonian Natural History museum. When I was little, I used to love looking at all the gems and learning about animals. Then when I got older, I used to have a photo internship there. So many great memories.
