Right before the storm hit. Super dramatic clouds make me so happy.
In between helping tourists taking pictures of themselves in front of the monument and the AMAZING sunset, I managed to capture a few of my own. At one point I had to start turning some down. I think people just assume that I know how to take pics just because I have a SLR and tripod… but that’s just my guess.
Another awesome storm last night. I met up with my friend, Navin at the Air Force Memorial and had a great time. It was tough to see actual lightning bolts from the top of the hill, but the dramatic clouds were so amazing. Luckily we left just in time before it started pouring rain.
I was really hesitant to go out last night for sunset. Its just been so hot and humid. I tend to prefer to stay comfortable in the AC than sweating like a hog beast outside. So glad I changed my mind. The sunset was amazing and the lightning afterwards was even better! I’ll be sure to post more from this night as I work on them 🙂
Hi! I hope you have a good weekend. No big plans for me except for a trip to costco. What about you?
If I weren’t the one who was taking this picture, I’d be jealous of the woman walking through it. It looks like this magical place where magnolia flowers just follow you everywhere. Oh man, if only a place like that existed. I think I’d lay down and make a snow angel out of flower petals.
