blue sky, capitol, washington dc

I love taking images of the sky when it’s super cloudy. It brings a new life to the monuments, especially when they are seen all the time. This one makes the Capitol seem so small.

The cherry blossoms are expected to be in peak bloom later this week. So in preparation for Cherry Blossoms 2013, I decided to share my top 7 cherry blossoms photos I’ve taken over the years

fog, capitol, washington-dc

This morning at the Capitol was crazy foggy! When I first got there around 6:45, I could barely see anything. Luckily, as the sun rose, the capitol building started showing up more and more. I love the little ball of light peaking through the clouds.

great falls, snow, trees, landscape

So what do you think about the black and white? I think I like it better for snow pictures. With snow, the colors kinda get washed out and the black and white makes it look a lot more dynamic. Any thoughts?
