Taken at the same time as this image, but I like the way this one turned out better. I love the color in the sky with the lifeguard stand in the foreground to add some interest.
False Cape is another Virginia State Parks in the Virginia Beach area and this place is pretty perfect place for sunsets. It’s hard to say that about any place on the East Coast but it’s this little inlet of land that has water on both sides. So, capturing a beautiful sunset is dependent on mother nature.
Thanks so much to Virginia State Parks who provided me with lodging so that I was able to visit these incredible parks in the VA beach area.
After a day of rain, I was really hoping for an amazing sunrise. Ask and you shall receive!
I headed to the beach in a huge rush in the morning. Mainly because I didn’t know where to park so it was taking me a while. Once I found a place, it was an incredible morning and was amazed to see surfers in the water. It was so cool!
The past few days I was very lucky to be able to spend at First Landing State Park. If you don’t know, it’s a VA state park in the VA Beach area that has these amazing Cypress Swamps. Seriously, I’ve never seen anything like them before and they are amazing to see in person!
