Andrew and I were watching Anthony Bourdain’s Layover: Taipei edition the other night. It was so fun to watch because it brought back great memories from my trip last year. Memories of food and places I’d visited. At one point, Anthony brought up Maokong gondola rides. As soon as it came up, Andrew asked if I had any pictures from there. YES I do! So this is to prove to Andrew that I rode up the mountain side.
One morning when it was crazy foggy out. So fun to see and photograph.
There must of been something good behind me. Everyone was facing the wrong direction. Or was it me? I don’t think so. I think the puddle made for a much more interesting image.
I’m one of those people who really like to celebrate their birthdays. I mean why not? It’s the only day in the year that you can really say, “HEY! Shut up. It my birthday” and people will listen. HAHA Anyways, Andrew and I are in the middle of planning a get-away for the big day next month. Should be lots of fun 🙂
Kenilworth aquatic gardens is definietly a hidden gem in the DC area. Every time I show my friends images from here they’re super surprised that I took this in DC AND in Anacostia of all places, which is exactly known as the safest area in DC. But I’m so glad summer flower season is here. They’re one of my favorites!
Everyday I sit at my computer and I try to come up with something happy, upbeat, or fun to say in these blog posts. Some days its more difficult than others. Today I just feel sad. Please lets all just concentrate on peace.
