I remember the exact time when I took this image. We were on our way to get some afternoon tea and macarons. Actually, the afternoon tea part was a happy accident. We intended to take some macarons to-go but when we walked through the door we saw everyone sitting and enjoying tea in this beautifully decorated space. So of course I squealed and asked Andrew if we could sit and have some tea too. He couldn’t say no but after 10 minutes into it we looked around and noticed he was the only guy in the whole restaurant. HAHA! It wasn’t until we left did we find the side entrance where you could get your macarons to-go 🙂 Oh well, it was des tonnes de plaisir.

Looking forward to today. Today I’m meeting up with my awesome graphic designer, Anelise from Anelise Salvo Design Co. We met through instagram and have been working together for at least half a year now. She’s the lady responsible for my beautiful website, the monthly downloads and more things we’ve got in the works. Love working with her and can’t wait to meet face-to-face 🙂
Guess what! Tomorrow is my birthday! August 29th 🙂
I’m one of those people who love celebrating birthdays and I always thought it was really cool that it’s also Michael Jackson’s birthday. Me and the king of pop.
But going through Facebook and things I’ve noticed quite a few of my photo friends also celebrate their birthdays this week. I think that’s so awesome! The way that I think of it, there must be some sort of correlation between creatives and being born around this time of the year. HAHA. Or am I taking this birthday thing a little too far?
Here are 3 things that made me super happy this past week:
1. Early birthday celebrating with the family at Lake Anna this past week. I had a blast just hanging out and soaking in the sun.
2. Wakeboarding! Never in my life had I thought I’d wakeboard but it was super fun. Can’t wait to do it again sometime soon
3. And then THIS!!!
Last full day on the lake and I’ve been trying my hardest to stand up on the wake board. Somehow I always get up a little and always loose my grip.
Update: I got up!! I just had to change my grip and it was so much easier. Before I had one hand up and one hand down. Now I hold the bar with both hands going in the same direction and I was able to ride.
Having a blast at the lake this week! We’ve been out on the boat and went wake boarding, tubing and just general relaxing. I also flew a drone for the first time. It lasted for about 5 minutes before I crashed it into a tree 🙁 Does anyone know where I go to get a drone repair?
This I remember. Andrew and I were walking from our apartment in Paris to the bakery! I love croissants. I’m pretty sure I had 3 that day.
