There is so much to see in Red Rock State Park. I loved little river flowing through with Cathedral Rock in the background. Unfortunately, it started to rain. Fortunately, it created this beautiful rainbow that just added so much to this image. I was only able to capture one image before it started to downpour. I’m just glad I was able to get this one.
Isn’t this a beautiful view. I think out of all my Arizona images, I was most excited to process these from Slide Rock Arizona State Park. I love the reflection and it was such a beautiful morning to be out taking pictures.
The last day we spent in Sedona was a rainy one. We spent most of the day in our hotel just catching up on some rest when I finally had to get out of the room. I’m so glad we did because the rain had stopped just in time for a beautiful sunset.
While I was in Arizona, I didn’t wake up early every morning. In fact, I only woke up for sunrise the first day we were there to meet up with Larry, a local Sedona photographer. Luckily, he told us that Sedona doesn’t great views of the sunrise so I got to sleep in. It felt great!
I’m back from Sedona and had an amazing trip! I think we were really lucky. It doesn’t rain in the desert too often but we got some amazing rain while we were there. With rain, comes clouds. And I love me some clouds 🙂
