Yesterday’s sunrise could not have been any better!
What the Tidal Basin actually looks like during cherry blossom seasons and this is in the morning. Can you imagine what it looks like in the afternoon? Craziness!

Cherry blossom trees in the morning. Each one is so unique and different. Some stand up straight and proud while others are twisty and turny they seem like they’re reaching for the water. All beautiful in their own right.
Finally! The cherry blossom are here! All the weather people and NPS predicted it was going to be this past weekend, but I think the weather was a little too cold for the flowers. We finally had a warm day yesterday and all of the sudden, this morning at the tidal basin looked totally different. I know it’s just the beginning of the bloom but it’s still really exciting. You know where I’ll be all week!
