Usually I walk right past this boat when I’m in Great Falls, MD, but this time was different. I think it was the sunset colors, but I’m so glad I actually stopped and took my time with this shot to get the perfect angle.

I originally intended to shoot this field of flowers that I passed by a few weeks ago, but they were all gone. Luckily, Great Falls Park in Maryland was right down the street and I made it in time to catch a beautiful sunset.
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the Yurt I went to last week. What is a yurt? Was it fun? What does it look like on the inside. Well, here it is!
It’s been raining on and off these past few days so I’m really lucky the rain held off for a while so I could get this image. On the way back home it was a little scary because it started POURING!
For the past few days I’ve been in a Yurt. Yes, I know, what is a Yurt? It’s this really cool fancy, fun tent up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was so much fun and came equipped with a hot tub, fireplace, and some fun dog friends. I got to spend 3 days with some awesome ladies: Kacy, Racheal, and Kelly. I’d highly recommend it if you just need to get a way for a little bit. Whitt was a great host 🙂
