Finally, the scaffolding is starting to come down 🙂
Sunrise at the Capitol building in Washington DC. This sunrise was particularly inspiring because I really didn’t think I’d be able to see any colors. It was so cold in the morning I kept on going in and out of my car when there was any hint of pink or orange.

The first light at Shenandoah National Park. I love the little house in the foreground. It makes me wonder if the people planned to be on top of that hill.
I love waking up early in the mornings. Not the actual waking up part, but once I’m outside watching the sky change color, it’s magical.
