It’s a super easy hike if anyone is interested and the views are gorgeous! Have fun next week, girl scouts!

Visiting Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden on a rainy day isn’t too bad if you have an umbrella. There are barely any people and its like you have the whole place to yourself. It’s a great time to throw the umbrella and run around the place with your hands in the air like Phoebe from Friends.
Even though I’m not done going through all my Japan images, I’m still out shooting. This was taken two weeks ago, right after it stopped raining. I’m a sucker for weather images and I thought this puddle brought a different perspective.
I’m so glad I brought my winter jacket to Japan because it was cold most of the time we were there. Cloudy, windy with some rain off and on. I think the clouds made for better images but the most disappointing part about it was that the cherry blossoms weren’t blooming like I thought they’d be. The tree on the left was one of the most beautiful trees we saw so I’m glad we still got to see a little sneak peak of them.

Theres this energy that I can’t describe when you visit the tidal basin during cherry blossom season. Everyone is so happy and excited. People get dressed up to take pictures in front of the trees, smiling faces everywhere, it’s just so much fun!

Is it wrong to say that this reminds me of House of Cards? Is it also a mistake to say that Andrew and I have already finished the 4th season? Man, I hope we don’t have to wait another year to find out what happens next to the Underwood campaign.
