Today may be the first wintery weather of the season. I say that if it’s going to be wintery weather, it better be the good kind. Either not enough snow to cover the roads OR so much snow that you’re stuck home for a week. To be honest, it probably not even going to be anything at all.

Black Friday and Thanksgiving round 2 for me today. As if I didn’t get enough yesterday. HA!
When it’s too cloudy to see the Super moon, I decided to concentrate on the beautiful night lights.
Last week, my friend Larry and I woke up early and headed west to Shenandoah National Park. It was so fun to go with a fellow photographer cuz he didn’t mind when I’d randomly pull off the road and get my camera out without any notice or warning. It was just this understanding that we had. Or maybe it was just too early for either of us to really dispute it. Either way, it was a good time!
If you saw a crazy girl running with her hair everywhere and a tripod in her hand along the parkway, that was me. I was so late to this sunrise. I always forget about traffic now that the sun rises so much later in the day. I was pretty much jumping up and down in the driver seat all the way down GW Parkway to get to Roosevelt Island. Glad I was still able to catch some of the color before it faded.
When I met up with Zack one evening, I told him that I did NOT want to shoot the monument. But the sunset was amazing and that tall obelisk is like a magnet to my camera. I couldn’t help it.
