A beautiful morning in Alexandria, VA at the little park right next to the waterfront. I don’t recall the name but its a great place to people watch and go for a morning jog.

Funny thing about this picture, I took it a few weeks ago and didn’t really even look at it once I uploaded it to my computer. I thought it was one of those fail days where the colors in the sky weren’t that great so I didn’t even bother processing it. I’m so glad I did now. I love the steam rising from the back of the waterfall.
Another clear morning at Hungry Mother State Park but at least there was a little color 🙂 Probably one of my favs from the series. What do you think?
I was lucky enough to be able to spend a great few days in Cozumel, Mexico last year. The main purpose of the trip was scuba diving, but you know me. I had to bring my camera along. It was pretty cool though because the taxi driver who took us to this spot said that the police guarding the beach saw a turtle about 10 minutes before we arrived laying eggs. Would of been so cool to see that but it was amazing to see the imprint that it left.
Do you all read books? I’ve been reading a lot more lately. I’ve noticed that I try to finish my work as soon as I can just so I can sit down and read. Not sure what has gotten into me because I don’t remember ever being like this even when I was little. I guess I just found a subject that I like- working on becoming a happier/better person.
