Usually, I don’t take portraits, but I couldn’t resist this time. She stood right next to me and it was like she was asking me to take her picture. What do you think about this image? Should I do more portraits like this? Kinda street/candid shots?

WHAT? WHAT? A sunset pic? I know. Tis the season to take pics and the mornings have been so foggy, I figured I’d go check out what it looks like at sunset. WOW! And I thought there was a lot of people in the mornings. Sunset is INSANE.

and I’m exhausted!

The sunrise wasn’t all that I hoped it to be. There was no color and kinda made everything very blue. I decided that I wasn’t going to waste my time and just work on my composition. I feel like with HDR a lot of times people rely on color, but what really makes an image interesting is the color.

After a day of rain, I thought I’d check out Alexandria to see what the sunrise would be like around there. It turned out to be really foggy and it’s been a while since I’ve seen a morning like that. It was really pretty. As the sun was rising the colors in the sky were peaking through the fog. Wish you could be there!
