Constitution Gardens is a hidden gem in DC. For some reason, not a lot of people know about it but it has a beautiful view of the monument.

Shout out to Ken from my facebook page who told me about the orchid exhibit at the US Botanical Gardens in DC. I’ve been ready for spring to come for a while now so this was a good taste of what’s to come.
One of those beautiful mornings that you don’t forget. I remember exactly when I took this image. I was on my way to the MLK memorial because it had just been built. I wasn’t planning on taking any shots of the Monument but how could I not? I probably spent about 5 minutes here and kept on moving. I was trying to get to the MLK for sunrise but didn’t really go as planned. It’s ok because this shot was well worth it.
This morning the Capitol literally looked like it was on fire. A great way to start the morning.
Haven’t been here in a while. It’s probably because the reflection pool has been underconstruction and that’s one of the best things about the Lincoln. To me at least 🙂 Well, it should be done in a few months and I can’t wait to go back 🙂
Last stop on our tour, Jim took us to the Cannon House Office Building. It was really cool and fun because we were the only ones there. We even laid down in the middle of the room to get a straight shot of the dome. Fun times on a Sunday afternoon 🙂
