I’m not sure what these glass panes are. I think they might be the roof to a cool staircase below? Or maybe very cool seating for the outdoors. Either way it makes for a great shot.

When I got yesterday, I looked up at the sky and thought it was going to be an ok sunrise. OMG was I wrong! As soon as I got to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial the sky was so colorful and beautiful. There was fog all over the mall which is something I’d never seen before, which added to the mood.
I went to the memorial to try to capture the wreaths.
An amazing sunrise this morning at the reflecting pool. I loved the light that was coming behind the trees so I tried capturing this image from a different angle than you’d usually see.
This image was originally taken in July, but I’ve been going through some of my older pictures and trying new processing techniques out. How do you like this one? Compared to the original one I posted?
A crazy cloudy morning at the Lincoln Memorial.
and then all of the sudden this huge group of students started running towards the memorial. It was kinda cool because they were cheering each other on running along the reflecting pool. I figured they were some part of a co-ed collegiate team getting their morning workout in. They ran up the stairs of the Lincoln and sat down to acknowledge some of their achievements.
The lincoln memorial is getting to be one of my favorite spots to take sunset pics in DC. Agree?
