The day I went out to shoot this image, I thought it was going to be too cloudy to see any light. Luckily I was there a really early and caught this pink. It was only there for a few minutes before the sky turned all blue again. Just goes to show that the early bird catches the worm!
Definitely one of the coolest buildings in DC. Also one of the best museums for lunch 🙂

Taken about 2 minutes after this image, but the pink light only lasted for 5 minutes.
This was taken during yesterday’s sunrise. As soon as I arrived at the reflecting pool, I was amazed by the view. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sky and the monument look like this before. I’m so glad I got to see it one last time before the they stop lighting the monument at night.
The leaves are really changing colors now in DC. Such a beautiful time to be in the city.
