What’s my favorite holiday song? You better believe it was on repeat this past weekend. It totally reminds me of when I was in school: LISTEN
Not only can I not sleep in anymore but since the sun rises so late now, I feel like I’ve been waking up extra early. It’s ok though or else I wouldn’t have been able to see gorgeous light like this if I were 10 minutes later.
3 Things I’m grateful for this week:
2. Making fun lists like this one.
3. 7 days til Christmas!
I’ve been staring at this screen for the past 10 minutes because I have no idea what to write about. So here’s a list of things that I have thought about in the past 10 minutes while procrastinating:
1. I can’t get this song out of my head.
2. “Buzz, your girlfriend… WOOOF!” HAHAHA Who can tell me which movie that’s from?
3. If you’re reading this and you email me your address by December 20th, I’ll send you a holiday card 🙂 [email protected]
I’ve been waking up for sunrise for years. So much so that it’s hard for me to sleep in anymore. I remember back in college I used to wake up at noon and it’d be the best ever. Now I can’t even sleep past 8a if I tried. Sunday morning was no exception. I actually woke up 10 minutes prior to the time I’d usually wake up for sunrise because I had to go to the bathroom. I looked at the time and was like, “if I’m up anyways, I might as well go take some pictures”. Glad this day didn’t disappoint 🙂
The Lincoln Memorial is one of those unique places where people go to watch the sunrise. And I’m not talking about a whole bunch of photographers waiting for morning to break, but everyday people will stop, sit on the steps and just enjoy. It’s pretty cool to see people from all walks of life just stand there in awe. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anywhere else that’s like this. What do you think this lady is thinking about?
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? My was kinda busy but I also made a lot of time to go out shooting. A lot more than I had originally expected but that’s a good thing because it always makes me happy. This was taken Saturday morning. I was super lucky to get the very first parking spot on the Roosevelt Memorial bridge. Don’t you just love it when that happens? Anyways, as I was doing my parallel parking thing, I really enjoyed this view of the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument. So this was taken right in front of my car as the other cars flew right past me.
