Last week we had some crazy foggy weather in DC, didn’t we? I wasn’t expecting to take pictures of the Monument, but when I drove into the city to take pics of the White House Christmas Tree, I could barely see the monument. It wasn’t until I got closer til I could make out the faint lines of the tall structure. I thought it looked pretty cool and creepy all at the same time.
Still in the holiday spirit!

Walking around NYC you can definitely feel the Christmas spirit. As I was taking this image, there were a group of people next to me taking a picture of themselves in front of the ornament. They said “say ‘big balls'”. So there you go. Big Balls.
Andrew and I spent a very cold but christmasy weekend in New York City. It was his birthday last week and thought it would be fun to have a little get away to celebrate. We did the usual touristy stuff like visiting Time Square and Rockefeller center but it was SOOO packed. So packed that it was hard to even walk. So sorry, no pictures from there. However, on our way to dinner we walked past Bryant Park. The Christmas Market caught my eye but it was the ice skating rink that I wanted to photograph. There was this cute couple with the guy helping his girl ice skate. It made for a sweet moment on the ice.
