I’ve had a few questions about how I’ve shot the Air Force Memorial with the whole memorial in it. There’s no secret that I love my 17-40mm wide angle lens and this is what helps me get the whole thing in frame. It also helps to get down low.
Although I’ve been to this memorial many times, I’ve never really photographed it. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because all the other times I’d been there, there were tons of people. I guess you gotta wake up real early in the morning to see it without all the tourists.
Last night, I decided to head out to see if I could get any good sunset shots. Unfortunately, there was only a little bit of color in a certain part of the sky. Fortunately, I had my 70-200mm with me to focus in on that little bit of color.
