Funny thing about this picture, I took it a few weeks ago and didn’t really even look at it once I uploaded it to my computer. I thought it was one of those fail days where the colors in the sky weren’t that great so I didn’t even bother processing it. I’m so glad I did now. I love the steam rising from the back of the waterfall.
Another clear morning at Hungry Mother State Park but at least there was a little color 🙂 Probably one of my favs from the series. What do you think?
A foggy morning at Hungry Mother.
Although I was only there for a few days, every morning would be extremely foggy in Hungry Mother State Park. It was pretty awesome cuz there weren’t any clouds in the sky to really have an interesting sunrise, but the fog made everything seem a little mystical.

Last week, while I was visiting Hungry Mother State Park, I wanted to go to Grayson Highlands that was just about an hour away. I had seen all these pictures of these wild horses and I really wanted to capture them at sunset. I thought it would be an amazing photo!
Getting to Grayson Highlands was a different story. It was up this huge mountain with no street lights, no cell phone reception and houses every few miles. That was not something I wanted to be driving through in the dark. Overall, I’m just happy I got some horsey pics 🙂
