Reflecting Pool Reopened

The pool is open! Finally the reflecting pool is open after two years of construction and it looks beautiful.
As soon as I stepped out of my house this morning and looked up at the sky, I knew it was going to be a special sunrise.

Pumpkin Patch
Up on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains is an amazing view. It had been raining earlier in the day which created some beautiful clouds.

The observation deck at the National Cathedral has some tiny little walkways. You gotta be patient to make sure you don’t get anyone in the shot. Luckily, there weren’t too many people on Saturday morning so I didn’t have to wait long

Foggy Morning at the Tidal Basin

That past few days haven’t been great as far as beautiful sunrises. As I was driving into DC this morning I had a hard time finding the monument. It was covered with FOG! If I can’t get a beautiful sunrise, than at least the foggy morning makes for a unique image
